Take A Break From Your Faith Crisis My Dear!

Take A Break / Faith Crisis

Did you know you can take a break from your faith crisis?

WHAT?!!!

I am giving you permission to step away from it all. I know the days can get overwhelming and all consuming. The WTF factor is real!

So, since the fun part of this process is discovering who you are without the church and all it has told you who you are supposed to be, start finding out who YOU are.

Breathe. Deeply. Repeat.

Put your phone down.

Take a walk.

Love the people in your life, more.

Send sweet notes to your love.

Sit on the floor and play with your little ones.

Pick up a book that has nothing to do with religion and READ IT.

Create a big ass bucket list.

Take a nap.

Call a friend and see how SHE is doing.

Organize a closet.

Take a ceramic class.

Go on a weekend getaway.

Invite friends over for a dinner party.

Go get a pedicure. (seriously the cure for anything)

Head towards the ocean. (my favorite)

Go visit a museum.

Go wine tasting. (too soon?) ;)

Take a drive with no particular destination.

Go to the movies, by yourself.

Draw.

Take up belly dancing.

Go to the spa.

Try a new restaurant.

Go to a concert.

Get out of your head and let it go, even if just for a day.

I know your world feels different now, but, it will still be what you create it to be. You just get to discover the new you with your glorious newness.

Once you have gone through this process, you know things will never be the same, but guess what? That is exciting part. You may not see that now. But you will. Soon. Promise.

I want you to notice that the world is still spinning. The sun keeps coming up. The stars are still in the sky,

and you are MORE BEAUTIFUL than ever.

You are loved. I hope you know that. What you are going through is not for the faint of heart. Take pride in being brave. Yes YOU.

So, take that break in 5.....4.....3.....2....go. You have my permission.

More soon,

Amy
